THE CLASS

Our ServSafe Managers Courses are offered in a one-day format, with both the class and exam taking place on the same day. The class begins at 8:30 AM and ends at approximately 5:30 PM. The examination typically begins around 4:00 PM, and students are dismissed upon completing the exam. A one-hour lunch break will be given; students are on their own for lunch and are free to leave during that time.

Registration is required and closes one business day prior to the class. Please visit the EVENTS to pre-register. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to confirm attendance and check identification.

THE EXAMINATION
There are 90 questions on the exam. 10 question will not count toward your grade as they are perspective questions for future exams or to gather knowledge within the food service industry. students must score a 75 or higher to pass and earn their certificate. Most students take 45 minutes to complete the exam. 2 hours will be given for examination
 
THE CERTIFICATE

This Certification Is Valid for 5 Years.
We Will Review Your Score with You in Person and Provide a Printed Black-and-white Copy of Your Certificate at the End of Your Exam. A Record of Your Certificate Will Be Kept on File with Us. You Can Also Access Your Official Electronic Certificate at Any Time by Logging into Your Servsafe Account.

 
THE LOCATION

The Location Is Listed Under Events on the Registration Page. Once You Complete Your Purchase, a Confirmation Email Will Be Sent. This Email Will Include the Time, Location, and Course Details.

THE PRICE

Charr members: $175 - price includes textbook, review course, and online exam.
Non-members:    $225 - price includes textbook, review course, and online exam. 

 

Food Handler/Worker Card

Alaska CHARR does not offer food worker or food handler card training or certification.
