TAP RENEWAL INFORMATION
If you currently hold an active TAP® card, or your card expired within the last six months, you are eligible to take the TAP® Renewal Test online. This option is available only to individuals who have previously completed an approved alcohol server education course in Alaska.
To access the test, you'll need to log in to your Alaska CHARR account. If you don’t remember your login information or are unsure whether you have an account, please fill out a contact form so we can assist you. Be sure to include the following information to help us locate or verify your account:
Your date of birth
Phone number
Current mailing address
Current employer
Once your account is confirmed, you’ll be able to log in, and purchase the renewal.

Renewal test are fully online. They can be done within anywhere in the state.
- Renewal pricing is $70 for non-members and $55 for members.
- The passing score for a renewal test is 87.5%, (Retakes are not available for renewals.)
- If you fail, you will be required to pay for and attend either a live class or a webinar.
