ALCOHOL SERVER TRAINING (TAP®)
What Is TAP®?
Training for Alcohol Professionals (TAP)® is a state‑approved alcohol server and seller certification in Alaska, offered exclusively through Alaska CHARR both in person and via live Zoom webinars. The program covers essential topics tailored to state requirements—such as identifying intoxication, verifying IDs, navigating alcohol laws, and managing challenging scenarios—and takes approximately 4 hours to complete. At the end of the class, participants must score 85% or higher on the exam to pass. Once successful, you’ll receive a temporary certificate immediately, with your official TAP® card mailed to you.
Pre-registration is required for all courses, including in-person sessions.
Valid government-issued photo ID is required for all classes.
Class fee is $50 for CHARR members and $65 for non-CHARR members.
(Prices may vary outside of Anchorage, and tax is NOT included in the prices.)
